THE HUNGER SIGNAL
"I need food."
Practice recognizing hunger instead of trying to outlast it.
Your first day starts with respect for hunger; not a strategy for defeating it.
You'll be guided to notice your experience of hunger and consider the context around it: when you last ate, what your day has been like and what you're noticing now.
The question isn't:
"How long can I hold out?"
It's:
"What would taking care of my need for food look like right now?"
This is not about earning a meal or ignoring your body.
When you need food, eating is part of taking care of yourself.
Hunger is not a failure of willpower. And this challenge won't ask you to treat it like one.
